Land of many Cows

We have been staying in a wonderful little place called Burlington in Vermont. Bec has her course here, so while she has been hard at work, I've been relaxing, and checking out the town.

Something I've notice here is that they really, and I mean they really like cows.

Wedding Yay!

Due to popular demand, this post is about Sean and Shana's wedding.

Firstly let me say that this couple are wonderful, interesting, fun people. I am very pleased to have finally met them, and to be a part of their celebration.

Going to the show

Hey all, I've been receiving a little flack from people that I've not updated my blog, especially with photos from the wonderful wedding we have just attended. At least this means people are reading.

Well the wedding was quiet an event, and one of the best I've attended. The bride and groom are amazing people, whom I've been lucky to get to know a little. So of course they held an amazing wedding. But for those that requested to here about it... tough, because I'm going to talk about something else.

Independance Day

Today is the 4th of July, a pretty big deal here in the land of the free. Tonight promises to be a night full of revelry and fireworks.

New York City

This morning I awoke to the sound of workmen outside my window. Freddie and Jack are having a paved walkway put in to take clients around the back where they have a home office. One workman was speaking in English, another was speaking with a strong Spanish accent, and the other was speaking entirely in Spanish. Somehow they were all communicating to each other perfectly. It made me think of the diversity of cultures here in the US. And one of the most diverse cities is of course New York.

The Adventure Begins

Those of you who know us well might know that recently there has been some changes. Facing the sudden realisation that we needed to move out of house and home, and me with no gainful employment to tie me down, we decided to come to America for one of Bec's friends wedding - something we have wanted to do since we heard about it, but really didn't think it was going to happen.

Welcome to the Adventure

Hi everybody,

So I decided that I wanted to blog about Bec and my travels in America. To see how this blogging business works, and to keep all our fans apprised of whats going on.

In typical fashion I'm late getting started since we have now been here for around 2 weeks. However, we have plenty of adventure left to go, and I'll be recounting what we've been up to so far as I go.

Stay tuned for how our adventures began coming soon.
